1600-1700hrs: Ceres Power has developed a unique low temperature, low-cost (500-620°C) metal-supported SOFC technology based on the use of Cerium Gadolinium Oxide (CGO). This talk outlines the areas that Ceres Power has focused on to develop a technology that is good enough in terms of performance and durability but demonstrates disruptive characteristics in cost and robustness.
1700-1800hrs: The use of 48V mild hybridisation technology to deliver drive cycle fuel consumption similar to that of a full HEV, with considerably less cost, enhancement of real world driving attributes and base engine efficiency will be discussed. The presentation will included a detailed review of the award winning gasoline engine based TSB 'HyBoost - Intelligent Electrification' project, and a new Diesel engine based 48V project TSB 'ADEPT – Advanced Diesel Electric Powertrain, which takes the level of electrification and energy storage medium technology to the next level.
