The SOFE (Speak Out for Engineering) competition was established by the Institution in 1964 to challenge young engineers to prove that they could "communicate effectively", which is still an important area for today’s developing engineers.
The participants must give a 20 minutes oral presentation on an engineering related topic in front of a panel of judges. The winner will get a 300 GBP cheque and the opportunity to challenge our colleagues from Palestine next February. The runner up will get a 100 GBP cheque.
