Europe Region Election- Announcement
Elections for the positions of Chair and Young Member Representative for the Institution’s Europe Region are taking place in 2016. The nomination period has now closed and voting for the positions of Europe Region Chair will take place throughout April. There were no nominations for the role of Europe Region Young Member Representative, so for this role no vote will be required.
We are pleased to announce that there are two candidates for the position of Europe Region Chair, details as follows:
- Raymond Hodgkinson CEng FIMechE
- Philip John Peel CEng FIMechE

EUROPE REGION ELECTION PAPERS- POLICY STATEMENTS & VOTING PAPERS.
Voting for the candidates for the Region Chair opens on 1 April 2016 and will close on 1 May 2016. All members eligible to vote have been sent an email (or letter, where no email address has been provided) regarding the position up for election this year.
Within the email there is a unique link which you can click on to cast your vote. Please refer back to this email to vote in this election.
Any attempt to vote more than once will be detected. There is a system of preferential voting in place so you must enter your order of preference 1, 2, 3 etc. you must indicate your preference with numbers, rather than ticking or crossing the boxes, otherwise your voting paper will be invalidated.
If you decide to print out the election documents and vote by post instead, you must ensure that postal votes are received c/o APT Stratum House, Stafford Park, 10, Telford, TF3 3AB United Kingdom by 1 May 2016.
Voting online and by post will close at 12pm BST on 1 May 2016.
