Dr. Rosalind Williams described it best when she wrote “the mission of engineering has changed because the dominant problem no longer involves the conquest of nature, but the creation and management of a self-made habitat” This talk will discuss an approach to engineering education that will challenge the way we do engineering today: biomimicry or bio-inspired design.
