Welcome to the East Midlands Region

This site is here to tell you about the IMechE in the East Midlands and what we do, and provides you with up-to-date information about what’s going on in our region.

Our region has about 5700 members and covers Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Lincolnshire and Peterborough. The organisation comprises of a Regional Committee, Area Committees, Young Member Panels and two Divisional Groups. Links to more details about these are shown on the left hand side of this page.

We are also extremely well supported by our Business Development Manager Lara Mallett.

There are many initiatives going on in this region and there are plenty of great opportunities for you to be involved. This includes for example becoming a mentor and sharing your experience to help others develop, running an event, or joining one of our committees.

If you want to become more involved with the IMechE then please contact Zoe Clarke. If you have any ideas on how we could improve what we offer then we would very much like to hear from you.
