Description

Warrant Officer Kevin Ball - Senior Engineering Officer from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) presents the work carried out to maintain the airframes, engines and instrumentation of the BBMF aircraft in full flying condition.  Fighters include Spitfires and Hurricanes, while the Lancaster bomber is the only one remaining airworthy in Europe.

Kev joined the RAF in 1980 as a Direct Entrant Propulsion Technician. After training at RAF Halton, he served in technical roles on the Vulcan B2 and K2, the Nimrod AEW3, the Vulcan Display Flight, the Tornado Engine Bay at Woodhall Spa and the Tornado F3 with 56(R) Sqn
