Description

This presentation is Jeremy’s second talk on the subject of the History of Aviation - part one covered the very early days of biplanes and open cockpits, through to the warplanes.

His first slideshow was very well received and was enthralling, nostalgic and informative. We are very pleased to invite him back to talk about the more modern aircraft. It is a visual feast of photographs taken from the ground, in the air and in service ready for action.

Jeremy’s interest in aviation started as an air cadet and he has visited numerous airfields. His camera recorded every event and, 50 years on, he has an extensive library of more than 150,000 photos. These have been used in many magazines and
newspapers. He has 30 books of his own published covering aircraft, ships, vehicles, weapons and more modern military history.
