Update: the University of East Anglia has cancelled all public events on campus. We will look to provide a revised date in the future.

We look forward to welcoming you to hear a Technical Lecture from Professor Chris Atkin on Reducing CO2 from Aviation – Engineering and Operational Challenges. The presentation will look at some of the opportunities being explored for ‘Greener Aviation’ – drag reduction, wave riding, distributed propulsion and alternative fuels, to name some. He will reflect on the challenges of realising the theoretical gains from these opportunities.

The lecture will take place at the University of East Anglia in the New Science Building - room 0.03. This building is located on Chancellors Drive, with the Google Coordinates of 52.621838, 1.233442

Join us to hear from Professor Chris Atkin, the newly appointed Head of Engineering at the University of East Anglia. Prof Atkin is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Royal Engineering Society and the Royal Aeronautical Society and is currently the Chair of the Engineering Council.
