The Annual General Meeting of the Cambridgeshire area of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers will be held on Monday 16th July 2018 at 18:15 at the Institute for Manufacturing, Alan Reece Building, 17 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge, CB3 0FS.

After the AGM, there will be a short break, followed at 19:00 by a talk and discussion on the future of the IMechE, with respect to the IET and its peers, in the light of the report "UK Engineering 2016" by Professor John Uff.

The talk is free to attend, open to the public and is suitable for students and engineers. All welcome. You are encouraged to pass on this invitation and bring with you colleagues, friends and family who are interested in the future of the engineering institutions.

Date: Monday 16 July 2018

Time: Refreshments served from 18:00. AGM starts 18:15. Talk starts 19:00. Ends following discussion by 20:30.
