    Bloodhound SSC is a 130,000bhp and 7.75 tonne supersonic car that is designed not only to go faster than the speed of sound (supersonic), but with 47,000lbs of thrust which will reach 1000 mph/Mach 1.4 in 50 seconds - the rocket has a 5ltr supercharged Jaguar V8 engine just to drive the fuel pump. It will cover a mile in just 3.6 seconds.
