Description

Meir will talk briefly about his career and where he started and then give an introduction to subsea technology, how it was developed and the current state of technology.

Notwithstanding the current low price of oil, it is expected that guaranteeing security of future energy supplies will involve developing resources in ever more challenging environments. The development of subsea technology plays a key role in enabling engineers to do just this. This lecture will appeal to anyone with an interest in the development of technology and its future application.
