Luncheon Meeting - Geothermal Energy

Following lunch; Tim Jackson will give a presentation on Geothermal Energy and discuss the potential for geothermal energy in the UK.

Assemble from 12 noon for lunch at 12.30/12.45

Croydon Masonic Halls are within walking distance of West Croydon railway station, bus station and tram stop. Parking is available in the Masonic Halls car park in  nearby Stanton Road. Please DO NOT use the car park adjacent to the halls in Oakfield Road (this is reserved)

The charge for the lunch (including wine) will be £22 per person.
Cheques should be made payable to "IMechE Southern Area" and sent to reach Malcolm Saunders by Monday 25th September at the latest. Payment may also be made  by bank transfer.

Tim Jackson is a power generation engineer who has been working on geothermal projects since 2009. He helped draft an IMechE report on the subject and was lead author for a report on the Geothermal Potential of the UK for the Renewable Energy Association
