    The Great War was the setting for the first major confrontation between two 20th Century Great Power Naval Fleets and advances in technology had radically changed the whole nature of maritime warfare since the Battle of Trafalgar over a hundred years previously. The lecture will review the technology, naval administration and politics during the transition to war and the Naval Campaign.
