Description

According to DEFRA - As a nation we produce 200 million tonnes of household waste every year. Have you ever wondered what happens to the cardboard boxes, tins and glass containers you separate for the recycling bin each month? Or about the "mixed" recycling? Here is your chance to find out...

Chris Moreton will be presenting a talk that will give insight into some of the technology that Warwick County Council uses in its waste management processes. This technology includes; energy generation from waste, in-vessel composting, mechanical-biological treatment/refuse-derived fuel and their latest street sweepings' recycling system
