Description

The IMechE Teesside Young Members panel would like to invite you to a presentation entitled ‘Non Destructive Testing (NDT) – How to prevent things going bump in the night!’, on Wednesday 14th March 2012. This will be presented by Dr Rene AS Hoyle, the Principle Materials Engineer and Inspection Manager from Axiom Engineering Associates.

The aim of this presentation is to equip the attendee with a basic understanding of what NDT is? The presentation will review the various examination techniques and describe the situations in which they can be applied. A series of case studies will demonstrate how important these techniques are in maintaining the structural integrity of a plant.

The presentation will start at 6pm at Teesside University – Room, HS2.12, Centuria South and HS Forum. We would urge you to register your interest to avoid disappointment. Refreshments will be provided.
