Description
If you have plants that are redundant or might become redundant in the near future, you need to be aware of the engineering and safety implications. In the UK a large number of companies are facing the problems of ageing plant. This seminar will enable you to prepare, plan and specify the work necessary for when a plant is to be taken out of service.
The work required to decommission a plant depends on a number of options that need to be followed in the longer term. These include mothballing, dismantling and sale and demolition; understanding the implications of these actions is essential in the preparation.
Understand the safety aspects that must be considered when assessing how redundant plants should be managed, including the presence of asbestos and the implications of regulations and codes of practice; key industry experts will present all the options and discuss the actions required.
