The Event is held in conjunction with Process Industries Division.
Case studies from within and outside of the process industries will be used to demonstrate the need for diverse technical and managerial systems in preventing catastrophic incidents along with a culture that values all information about how these are working.  Some experiences will be shared showing where organisations may or may not have set themselves up for success both technically and organisationally.

Richard Roff BEng CEng FIMechE, Group Process Safety Manager, Costain Group PLC
He advises on the strategic implementation of PSM techniques across the business and is involved in auditing, incident investigation and education in process safety and leadership.
Richard is Chair of the UK PSM Competence Programme Board which originated in the National Skills Academy – Process Industries.
His earlier career spans the chemical and steel industries with businesses of ICI, DuPont, Croda and Tata Steel.
