Siemens Energy Service, based at the original C.A.Parsons site in Heaton, services and maintains large Steam and Gas Turbines and Electrical Generators.
The site has seen major investment in recent years and now provides a world-class Service Facility for the Power Generation Industry.
The tour of the facility is free to attend, but numbers are limited and places must be reserved in advance.
The tour will last approximately 2 hours

Following design and build of an electric racing car, the project at all levels culminates in events at well known venues such as Croft Circuit near Darlington in North Yorkshire, whether it is a driving skills test for primary schools or the unique four hour endurance race for older students.
