This event is being advertised on behalf of the ICE as the topic is of interest to us.

Richard Coackley, from the ICE, will discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with meeting the requirements of the Energy Policy in the UK, discussing where we are now, the impact of emissions, resilience, demand and supply, and the impact of human behaviour on the countries energy needs.

Richard is Director of Energy Development, Environment & Natural Resources for URS. He has worked throughout his career in both contracting and consulting in the UK, and overseas in the power, water and wastewater sectors. He was President of the Institution of Civil Engineers from 2011 – 2012.
