Welcome to the West Cumbria Young Members

Engineering is everywhere. The IMechE West Cumbria Young Members arrange visits to local places of interest and technical talks and presentations from local and national experts which are all open to the public, to bring the latest Engineering advances to the local community.

IMechE West Cumbria has a growing and dynamic team of young engineers with a broad range of experience. Young Members are engineers of any age that are working towards Professional Registration or are within 10 years of becoming Professionally Registered.

A major aim for the panel is to provide training, personal development sessions, briefings on the current routes to professional registration and address some of the 'Challenges' thrown out by IMechE HQ and the wider Engineering community.

The panel welcomes new members and ideas. It is an ideal opportunity to get involved with the IMechE, local educational initiatives and network with like minded individuals.
