Description

This lecture will describe the technological advancements in the design, manufacture, optimisation and use of ski boots. Attendees will gain a thorough understanding of the engineering technology that has improved the skiing industry in terms of both performance and safety. The lecture is given by Mr Graham Pugh, Owner and Managing Director of Rivington Alpine based in Lancashire.

Graham Pugh’s expertise and knowledge of skiing technology has been gained over many years of using, testing and supplying equipment. He has been skiing since 1990, fitting boots since 1995 and became owner of the business in 2005 as specialist supplier to skiers of all abilities.
