    In this talk I will discuss the concept of absolute zero, why it is important and how to approach it. I will include why it is useful to explore such extremely cold temperatures, some of the phenomena discovered on the way, and how scientists go about achieving such low temperatures. I will illustrate the subject with a brief description of the technology used, some of it developed and improved at Lancaster.”
