Multi-Finger Caliper Logging – Evaluating Well Integrity

The multi-finger caliper tool enables Operators to obtain high-resolution data about the integrity of their Well. It is deployed on either real-time Wireline or memory mode to determine many Well scenarios such as casing wear, buckle/collapse, pitting or scale build-up.

The WASP (Well Abandonment Straddle Packer) 

The WASP (Well Abandonment Straddle Packer) has been designed to allow casing perforation and annulus cementing of subsea category 2 abandoned wells setting an environmental plug in one trip, prior to wellhead removal, from a dynamically positioned vessel. 


Craig Fraser is a Wireline Field Engineer for BHGE and has 6 years experience in cased hole logging. Hamish Mackenzie is a Field Engineer III in the Well Intervention Department for BHGE on the LEAD Development Program.
