This event has finished

The Aberdeen Young Member Panel is participating in a tour of the Buchan Biogas Project - a bio-methane, gas to grid, anaerobic digestion plant near Peterhead. The whole project is a carbon neutral source of energy able to produce enough energy for over 3000 homes.

This type of energy production technology is being seen as the most sustainable renewable source as it gives a major boost to the agricultural sector.
