The FloWave Ocean Energy Facility, operated by the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh, has been operational since 2014. The facility provides scale modelling services, primarily to the ocean renewables sector, through an innovative and unique combined wave-current test basin. A talk followed by a demonstration of the facility will illustrate the principles of operation, research activities and plans for future innovations.
Please note that the start time is 6:30 PM. Attendees are requested to arrive no later than 6:20 PM. Parking on site is limited but the facility is well served by the 41 bus service.
