    This presentation will focus on the recent psychological research into what is known as naturalistic decision making. This concerns real world decision making by experienced practitioners, typically in dynamic operational conditions, where decision errors can have serious consequences. The NDM researchers are interested in how decisions are made under conditions of uncertainty, risk and time pressure and the factors influencing the decision maker’s performance.
