    Does the pioneering H2 Aberdeen project demonstrate the future of road transport? Aberdeen has recently deployed Europe's largest demonstration of hydrogen fuel cell powered buses and there are now plans to introduce hydrogen powered vans and cars. This event will provide a tour of the hydrogen production and bus re-fuelling station at Kittybrewster and allow attendees to see 'under the bonnet' of one of the buses at the maintenance workshop.

    Subject to final consent approval this project, to install 588MW of wind turbines 13.5Km from the Caithness coast, will be one of Scotlands largest ever private investment infrastructure projects (£2.5bn). In this talk the speakers shall describe the project including the offshore works, subsea cabling, power transmission plans, the expected base for O&M activities in Wick and the associated local ,regional and national benefits.
