MacTaggart Scott is a privately owned Scottish engineering company established in 1898 based near Edinburgh. A presentation and factory tour offers a unique opportunity to see the facilities/company. Registration’s required for the event (no later than 28.05.12) providing name/nationality for security clearance (tour limited to 15-18 people).

Shell - Carbon Capture Presentation

The presentation will cover a Carbon Capture and Storage project that Shell are implementing. The project has been redesigned around the gas fired power station in Peterhead (rather than Longannet coal fired power station). Whilst some people will have attended presentations on this previously, this will be one of the first where the new project strategy will be discussed. This presentation would also align with the IMechE key theme of energy.
