Professional development event
04 June 2019 10:00 - 17:30
This event has finished

Professional Registration as a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers will establish your credentials as a trained and qualified engineer. In addition to developing your career prospects, you will also benefit from:

• A long term increase in your earning potential

• A qualification with international recognition

• Networking opportunities

• Access to a range of specialist information sources

To help you with this, we will be hosting 30 minute membership surgeries to discuss your individual route to Professional Registration.

If you would like to have a 1-2-1 consultation to explain the entry criteria, requirements for Eng Tech, IEng or CEng Membership - what we look for with the application process, how the interviewers will assess you, what to expect at the professional review interview etc, our membership surgery will help you.

Fellowship is the most senior membership grade, and is an accolade of engineering excellence for senior members in a position of leadership and engineering specialism.  If you would like an individual discussin about your own prospects for Fellowship, please register and book your appointment.

We will also be able to assist with any other queries that you may have.

There is no cost to attend, but please note failure to attend may be taking up someone else's chance to attend.

Appointments are available from 10am, and the last appointment is at 4.45pm.

Pre-registration is required.  Please email Jacqueline Brown - for further information and with your preferred time (we will do our best to accommodate you).

If you have any queries, or, if you would like to host a membership surgery on site, please let us know.
