Rampion Offshore Wind - The Transition from Construction to Early Years Operation.

The Rampion Offshore Wind Farm, the first to be constructed off the south coast, began supplying green energy to the grid eighteen months ago.  We are delighted to invite you to a Technical Lecture in which the speaker will be E.ON Joint Venture Manager and IMechE Member Daniel Allen-Baines.,  Daniel has been associated with the project through the commissioning process; he will describe experiences and challenges which have presented during the transition from build to operation.

 

 

Please arrive at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start.

 

Please note only limited parking is available at the college.

 

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served prior to the lecture.

Our speaker, E.ON Joint Venture Manager and IMechE Member Daniel Allen-Baines, has been associated with the project through the commissioning process and is well-qualified to describe experiences as the array began generating in regular service.
