Description

HYPED, Hyperloop II. (The Flying Podsman)

Historically, the United Kingdom has always been at the forefront of technological progress in infrastructure: from the first steam railway between Manchester and Liverpool in 1829, the daily London to Edinburgh service on the “Flying Scotsman” from 1862 or the opening of the first underground railway in the world on the London Metropolitan line in 1863.

We are delighted to invite you to our Hyperloop Technical Lecture. This lecture will give an up-date of the Hyperloop Project and its future potential.

Hyperloop is Elon Musk’s concept for the future of mass transportation. The concept would see electrically propelled pods travel autonomously through a near-vacuum tube.

HYPED, University of Edinburgh student society. The team was founded in 2015 and has grown to over 100+ members. The team is diverse, comprised of an international group of students across academic disciplines.
