Welcome to the Thameswey Young Members Panel

Thameswey Young Members Panel (TYMP) is a panel maintained by volunteers, comprised of IMechE Young Members in the Thameswey region, to organise events for local and regional IMechE Members and enhance networking in the science, engineering and technology community.

  • Want to get involved in organising local events that are of interest to you?
  • Are you working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer?
  • Want to meet up with other young engineers in the region?

If you answer yes to any of the questions above then Thameswey Young Members need you!

Thameswey IMechE Young Members Panel is looking for new members

This is an excellent opportunity to fulfil your IMechE competencies (especially C and D) and get to know other young engineers in the region. There are many opportunities available from just helping out, to sitting on national panels that have input as to how the IMechE decides its future policies. You can get involved with as much or as little as you like!

The panel meets every month, in different locations around the Thameswey region (Oxford, Reading, Guildford and Chilton areas) and hold a wide range of events such as Thorpe Park Visit, Brewery Tour,  Pro Drive Tour, Essential Engineer Skills Lectures and many more!

If you would like more information about the Panel, what it does and what you can get out of it then please contact either myself or anyone on the panel.
