EVENT TBC (ARISING FROM SPEAKER AVAILABILITY) Following the Olympics and Paralympics of last summer this lecture examines the influence and use of engineering in sport. Particularly how leading edge technologies from industry are used to create faster, lighter and more efficient equipment, to how precision analysis tools are allowing coaches to fine-tune athletes’ performance better than ever before.
