    Describes how the most recent return to service of the DH88 was achieved and also the precautions taken to mitigate the risks of a broken aeroplane which is now operated of a bumpy grass airstrip.

    Joint event with the IET. Booking Essential - photo ID required on the day. The visit will include guided tours of the Light Weapons Armoury and the collection of Armoured Fighting Vehicles.

    RWE Didcot B - Oxfordshire
    Technical site visit to RWE Didcot B combined cycle gas turbine power station. The tour will include facility overview, control room, waste heat boilers and turbine hall. Pre-booking is essential as spaces are limited. Attendees must bring their own PPE, see full description for details.
