Description

Dr Jeroen is director of the Oxford Biodesign programme and group leader of the Natural Interactions Lab in University of Oxford, which is developing new biomedical technologies to meet unmet clinical needs.  Their approach involves analysing medical needs by observing clinical practice and designing innovative solutions to address these needs and improve patient care. In addition, they research blue-sky ideas to drive design thinking.  Dr Jeroen will describe some of the work with a focus on the development of novel prosthetics in which the patient’s breathing powers the device.
