Saving lives at sea: The science behind the shout

Join us for an interactive family-friendly evening of fun, facts and physics about lifeboats and the incredible work carried out by the men and women of the RNLI

Come and join us at this fun and interactive talk where you’ll learn about how lifeboats are designed to withstand the worst conditions the sea can throw at them as well as the equipment that lifeboat crews use to protect them from the elements . Take part in experiments and explore the science, engineering and technology behind the equipment used by the volunteers in the BBC’s Saving Lives at Sea TV programme.
