Welcome to the South Western Railway Division Centre

I have pleasure in welcoming you to our programme of events for 2017-18. All the events are shown below, I hope that you will find this of interest.  All of our events are free and are open to engineers of all disciplines, and indeed to non-engineers. All with an interest in our topics are welcome.

We are continuing our successful engagement with universities with a careers event and presentation, open to all, at the University of West of England, Bristol this year. There is also the popular Christmas family evening in December followed by a hot buffet, and I would particularly recommend the March Future of Rail presentation competition as a thoroughly interesting and enjoyable evening hearing about the work being done by a number of young developing engineers in our region.

Our AGM will be held on 16th April 2018.  If you have any suggestions for future lectures, technical visits or other matters, or would like to be considered for a position on the Committee, we would be very pleased to hear from you.

Centre Chairman
