Description

**This event is now FULLY BOOKED. **

Join us for a fascinating insight into this state-of-the-art facility in Leeds, which helps increase recycling rates, generates energy (11MW) and also reduces the amount of waste that the city sends to landfill. It takes out plastics, paper/cardboard, ferrous and non-ferrous metals for reprocessing.

The RERF operates 24/7 and operates well within the UK and EU standards for emissions to atmosphere. The ash it produces is reused as construction aggregate.

Booking is essential as numbers are very limited. Book early to avoid disappointment.

This is a joint event with the IET.
