Recently, however, the banking crisis, Libor, the PPI mis-selling scandal, the MPs' expenses controversy and the phone-hacking scandal which has led to the Leveson Inquiry have all underlined the importance of integrity to organisations and professions, particularly to the safeguarding of professional reputation and to the ability of individuals and organisations to inspire trust.
