The Northern Hub is a programme of targeted upgrades to the railway in the North of England. Scheduled to complete in 2019, it will allow up to 700 more trains to run each day. Martin Jurowski will tell us about the challenges faced by NR in achieving this

Event type: Technical Visit
Aberdeen Harbour is a world class port annually handling around 5 million tonnes of cargo, valued at approximately £1.5 billion, for a wide range of industries. Aberdeen Young members will have chance to meet the harbour master at the Marine Operations Centre. They will also be given the opportunity to navigate vessels on a ship simulator as well as admire the view from the tower’s balcony.
