William has been with Mercedes-Benz HPE for 4 years, after graduating from Bath in 2007.Predominantly working on development of future engine testing capabilities, William is
very well placed to explain how the new regulations will affect dynamometer testing

Description

The FIA recently announced regulation changes for F1 in 2014 that will see the current naturally aspirated V8 engines exchanged for highly turbocharged V6 engines and more
emphasis placed on driveline electrification with KERS. This lecture will describe the challenges posed by this shift, including the impact on the dynamometer driveline and
testing facilities. This event will consist of a technical lecture
followed by a presentation of student placement and graduate opportunities at Mercedes-Benz HPE.
