This event will provide delegates with an indepth insight into the workings of a modern day power station. Delegates will have the opportunity to view aspects of the power generation process such as the coal plant, Ash lagoons, Rocktron Plant, Biomass storage, Turbine hall, Flue Gas Desulphurisation, control room, amongst numerous others. A minibus will be provided to transport delegates around the plant as they cover each stage of the process from fuel to electricity and will gain an insight in

The primary objective of the 'Machine Safety' industry is to avoid injury and harm to persons in their workplace from such hazards as potentially dangerous machinery or moving transport vehicles.
After explaining the reasons for machine safety and legislation impacting upon the machine builders and users, the presentation will proceed to review the four primary option to provide machine safety; Danger Point Guarding, Perimeter Guarding, Access Guarding, Danger Zone Guarding.
