To promote the interaction of the Young Members Panels (YMP's) of the West Midlands. The Wolverhampton YMP are proudly hosting the first annual sports varsity between the Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Stafforshire YMP's. This is proving to be day full of fearce competition that will see only one panel crowned as victorious from the event. Speak Out For Engineering is a chance for young engineers to practice and demonstrate vital presentation skills in competition with one another for prizes of £300 & £200, with a 3rd place prize of £50 sponsored by Siemens VAI.
For the first time, the four corners of Yorkshire are competing against each other at this prestigious Region Event!

The Speak Out For Engineering Papers Competition is for Affiliate and Associate Members and those members who have been registered for less than 10 years. It is aimed at promoting the ability to communicate engineering subjects effectively.
There are cash prizes for the winner and runner up (£200 and £100 respectively) in the Regional heat of the competition, with the winner representing the Region at the National finals.
