Welcome to the Middle East and Africa Region

Welcome to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) webpage.

It is often said that MEA contains the major international growth areas of the next decade.

We have great growth potential in this region and as such we have a real opportunity for further development. Middle East and Africa has for 2014, forward thinking plans to expand, harmonise and achieve concrete results over the coming year and beyond.

The IMechE can also help members in planning their career and advise on membership requirements, continued personal development and IMechE international recognition.

If you are already a member or prospective, live in the MEA area, wish to volunteer and be part of the bigger picture, then also let us know.

So please visit the Institution webpage and give us a call.

While the driving public catches glimpses of some new features appearing on cars and trucks -- like adaptive cruise controls, blind spot warning systems, etc. -- much more is on the way
