Stuart is a chartered mechanical engineer, and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical engineers, with more than 20 years’ professional experience working within water, wastewater and industrial sectors, and the mechanical, and electrical team leader for Halcrow (CH2M Hill) Sharjah (UEA) team within the water, power and environment practice group. He has extensive experience of feasibility, design, specification, project management and site supervision of a wide range of mechanical and building services engineering projects.
He is a pumping station design specialist for potable, fire, waste, river and sea water, including detailed knowledge of water hammer and associated modelling techniques (surge analysis).
In the UK he was the MPDS scheme sponsor for the IMechE accredited training programme, chief mentor, and personal mentor to mechanical graduate staff. He is also an IMechE professional review assessor for both Member and Fellow and registered as an industrial liaison officer.
