Activity Subcommittee and Membership Drive Subcommittee of the Branch jointly held the Young Engineer Forum cum Mentorship Programme Casual Gathering with experience sharing. All young members, Mentors and Mentees will be gathered together to exchange thoughts and experiences on regular basis.
Young Engineer Forum (YEF) is an endeavor made to young members for equipping themselves with all-round knowledge and skills on work or off work with the guidance of experienced guests. YEF is an ideal platform for them to exchange thoughts and best practices with their peers on regular basis and to gain insight into the issues which are of their interests and concerns, equipping them to place themselves in a better position in the increasing fierce competitions.
The theme of this session will be
“Forensic Engineering (Traffic Accident)” which will explore the application of engineering principles science and techniques of sciences to the analysis of evidence recovered during investigation. Some traffic accident cases you may notice in newspapers will be discussed in an open and interactive manner for participants to raise questions and share their experience.
Networking opportunity and light meal & drink are also available.

Ir Lo is Fellow Member of IMechE and IMarEST. He is the Technical Support Group Leader in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of PolyU and responsible for running the project Laboratory of the department, which was set up to students in their final year projects. He is also responsible for experimental rigs design of research students, professors, and subsequently responsible for running all laboratories of the ME Department.
Ir Lo has gained accolades from both students and colleagues for his dedication and willingness to help students, and his professional work attitude. His accomplishments in the area of project design is indeed outstanding and his eagerness to serve others was much appreciated by those whom he had served. Ir Lo also conducted various consultancy work and served as expert witness in court.
