Wong will talk about basic operation principles, limitations and applications of various welding and cutting processes, consumable materials identification for captioned welding and cutting processes, specific weld defects adhere to individual welding processes, importance of qualification of welding procedures and personnel qualification including welders, inspectors, etc.., approaches to the qualification of welding procedures and personnel and its applicable specification and range, importance of weld joint geometry, distinguishes between different types welds and joints, terminology of various parts of welds and joints, different types of welding symbols, terminology of various parts of welding symbol, interpret commonly used welding symbols, importance of welding inspection, basic operation principles, applications and limitations of common used Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Destructive Testing (DT), roles and responsibilities of welding inspector and inspection practitioner.
