The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) – (http://www.imeche.org/) is giving a presentation on the routes to achieving Chartered Engineer Registration. 

This event will be relevant to anyone who:

Wants to learn more about professional registration and the benefits of membership with the IMechE.

Is working towards Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer Status

Is seeking advice on the experience and qualifications required to apply

Wants to understand the application process

Following the presentation Tom will be available to answer any specific questions regarding application forms and general questions about IMechE membership.

E.g. why it is so important to your career as an Engineer to be professionally registered?  How professional registration gives you International recognition.

Speaker Bio: 
Tom Owen is the Membership and Business Development Manager at the, and is part of the international team focused on growing membership globally. He supports engineers through the process of Professional Registration, and provides guidance and advice to candidates and their employers. He is responsible for creating and maintaining long term relationships with key engineering companies, as well as introducing new companies and sites to the Institution.
