Description

Are you a student of Mechanical or Mechatronics or Biomedical Engineering?


Would you like to improve your public speaking and communication skills?


If yes, then enter the


Speak Out for Engineering Victorian Competition 2017


Do a twenty-minute presentation on any topic that has mechanical engineering content and you could win


First Prize: $492
(equivalent to £300, exact amount will depend on the exchange rate)


Second Prize: $328
(equivalent to £200)


The winner will get an opportunity to compete in the Oceania Finals in November 2017 in Sydney and win more cash prizes


The winner of the Oceania Finals will get an opportunity to compete in the World Finals in February 2018 in Christchurch, New Zealand.


You have an opportunity to triple your prize money and travel!



Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the IMechE.

Conditions of Entry

Participants must be Affiliate (student) members of the IMechE. Affiliate membership is free for undergraduates but fees apply for postgraduate students. IMechE does not cover the cost of membership fees for this competition.
