Description
As part of the IEAust Engineers Week the Victorian Panel will be hosting a presentation on Metal Spraying (Cold Spray) Technology at CSIRO's Ian Wark Auditorium.

CSIRO is spearheading initiatives to facilitate development of an Australian titanium manufacturing industry.
These initiatives include projects focused on state-of-the-art fabrication technologies including additive manufacturing and titanium machining.
Stefan Gulizia, Research Group Leader, CMSE will be presenting CSIRO's new Direct Manufacturing facilities using Cold Spray (supersonic metal powder deposition) and Electron Beam Melting of metal powder for additive manufacturing.
The presentation will be followed by a visit to the Cold Spray laboratory. This presentation is organised by the IMechE Victorian Panel as part of the Australian Engineering Week 2012.
