This year the festival will run over five days from the evening of We dnesday 3rd to Sunday 7th August\, at Haggis Farm Polo Club\, Barton\, nea r Cambridge.\n\n\nWe have arranged an exclusive backstage tour for enginee rs on Thursday 4th August. We also have special prices on tickets\, so you can stay and enjoy the music!\n\nThe festival operates on three stages. All stage and audience areas are under cover. There is a large bar sellin g 100 real ales and ciders\, food vendors\, traders and an arts and crafts marquee. The event is run on a 130 acre green field site and all service s have to be set up specially\, including power generation and water distr ibution\, as well as perimeter fencing\, lighting\, signage\, toilets and showers\, road matting and sound absorbing panels\, not to mention the mar quees\, stages\, gantries\, state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems\, bars and cellar refrigeration\, an extensive backstage hospitality area fo r the 100 acts\, and facilities for the large team of professional and vol unteer technicians and stewards. As an engineering project\, organising a n event on this scale is a complex exercise that has to be seen to be appr eciated.\n\n\n\nCambridge Rock Festival 2014.
